Data selectors are the building blocks of Amapulse - they define exactly what information can be extracted from marketplaces: a product, a store, or a search page.

Quick Start : How to use data selectors?

Using data selectors with Amapulse is simple and doesn't require any technical skills. Once you've chosen the selectors you want to track: price, rating, seller name, brand..., there are two ways to get the insights you need, depending on your workflow:

1. Input them directly in the formula

Amapulse requires 2 parameters: a URL and one (or more) data selector.

Example: to know the title, the price and the name of the featured seller in Amazon, you need to use the following selectors: title, sale_price, buybox_winner.

2. Set up in Amapulse Automations

If you're using Amapulse Automations, the selectors are already pre-configured in dropdown menus – you just need to set up your automation by following the step-by-step instructions.
